Grand Gas Giveaway Rules & Regulations

Promotion Period: May 1 - 31, 2009
Prizes: Four $100 Marathon gas cards and one grand prize $1,000 gas card.
Summary: All presenting donors at participating blood drives in the Central Ohio Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross are eligible to win.

All references herein to the “Red Cross” shall mean the Central Ohio Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross.

All volunteer whole blood and apheresis donors are eligible to win; autologous and therapeutic donors are not eligible. Presenting platelet donors will be issued one entry ticket for each platelet donation made during the campaign period. Presenting blood donors will be issued one entry ticket. Entry tickets are non-transferable and have no cash value. The odds of winning are based on the number of entrants. American Red Cross paid staff members are not eligible to win. The Red Cross reserves the right to disqualify any entrant.

Decision of the judges is final in determining the winner through an impartial drawing. The winner will be notified. The name of the winner will made available by contacting 1-800-GIVE-LIFE.

Winners must show valid ID to claim prize, and minors may accept the prize with ID and signed permission of a parent or legal guardian. The Red Cross is not responsible for accidents/damage to property or person incurred while using the grand prize.

Prizes are non-refundable and cannot be combined with any other offer. Void where prohibited. Blood drive sponsors have the right to decline participation. 

Donors must be at least 17 years of age and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, and be in general good health.
