		Media Center Summer Blood DRIVE with Saturn Promotion Rules and Regulations June 1, 2009 Promotion Period: Monday, June 1 - Monday, Aug. 31, 2009 Objective: To motivate people to donate blood during the critical summer months. Prizes: One grand prize will be awarded, a one-year lease on a new Saturn vehicle of the winner’s choice. Nine others will receive a $100 gas card. Anyone who presents can receive a voucher from Saturn of Columbus which can be used to get a $20 gas card when you test drive any Saturn vehicle. All presenting donors will be issued one ticket to be entered in the grand prize drawing. All references herein to the “Red Cross” shall mean the Central Ohio Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross. Presenting volunteer blood donors at participating Red Cross blood drives across a 27-county area are eligible to enter and will be issued one entry ticket. Entry tickets are non-transferable and have no cash value. The odds of winning are based on the number of entrants. Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law. All presenting volunteer whole blood, platelet, and double red donors are eligible to win; autologous, directed and therapeutic donors are not eligible. Presenting apheresis donors will be issued one entry ticket for each platelet donation attempted during the campaign period. Presenting whole blood and double red donors will be issued one entry ticket for each donation attempted during the campaign period. The Red Cross reserves the right to disqualify any entrant. Entrants selected to win will be notified by phone and will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. If a selected entrant chooses not to comply with this condition, the opportunity to participate in the Saturn lease giveaway will be forfeited, and an alternate participant will be selected at random from the remaining entries. The winner of the Saturn one-year lease will be selected on Sept. 13 at the Saturn Day at the Zoo at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium. Once the winner is determined, the winner will take photos with Red Cross and Saturn officials. Saturn officials will schedule a date, time and place for winner to complete lease paperwork and take ownership of the Saturn vehicle. Vehicle will be delivered with standard equipment; any upgrades and options are at the sole expense of the winner. Color, package, factory options, and other prize specifics to be determined by sponsors and are subject to availability. Event vehicle is not necessarily the winning vehicle. Winner will be responsible for sales tax and title on the lease. Prizes are non-transferable; no prize substitution or cash redemption allowed except as provided herein. The one-year Saturn lease is based on 10,000 miles. Winner is responsible for any mileage overage at end of one-year lease term. Further details will be provided by Saturn of Columbus lease paperwork at lease signing. Prize winner name will be made available at the conclusion of the promotion. Sponsors reserve the right to use the name and/or image of the winner in advertising or similar uses in connection with the promotion. Decision of the judges is final in determining the winner through an impartial drawing. Winners must show valid ID to claim their prize, and must be 18 years of age at the time of lease inception. If the winner is not at least 18 years of age, the lease will be held until the donor turns 18 years old. The Red Cross is not responsible for accidents/damage to property or persons incurred while using the grand prize. Prizes are non-refundable and cannot be combined with any other offer. American Red Cross paid staff members are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited. Blood drive sponsors have the right to decline participation.
