Donating blood saves lives. Giving blood is a safe and simple process. Lives are saved every day using blood donated by volunteers in the community. Central Ohio is fortunate to have high quality health care providers. The American Red Cross provides blood products to Nationwide Children's Hospital, OSU's James Cancer Hospital and many other throughout a 27-county area. Patients come from all over the country to these institutions for treatment.
